A man has been arrested in Letchworth after he was found to have a knife on him.
Officers from North Herts Neighbourhood Policing Team and Operation Scorpion searched the man and his vehicle in Cotton Brown Park on Thursday (18 April).
They discovered a "large quantity" of cosmetics and medication, including 36 packs of Nurofen, as well as a knife.
He was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods, possession of a bladed article, possession of criminal property and going equipped for theft.

Aged in his 40s, the man has since been released on police bail while enquiries continue. His vehicle was also seized following the search.
