Three Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire postcodes have won £1,000 on the People's Postcode Lottery in August.

Locations in Watford, Borehamwood and Stotfold were all successful on the competition.

Each month, those who partake in the lottery pay £12 to have the chance to win up to £30,000.

A share of £3 million or more is awarded to "Postcode Millions" winners, while book vouchers and smaller £10, £15 and £20 prizes can also be won.

A number of postcodes are selected at random to win every day.

Last month (July 2023), five Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire postcodes were successful.

Just two Herts areas were successful this time around, whilst another was awarded £1,000 nearby in Bedfordshire.
