A Stevenage woman has been ordered to pay £532.20 after riding a train without a ticket.
Stacey Goff appeared at Barkingside Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, March 5, following an incident on August 14, 2023.
On that date, Miss Goff entered the platform at Winchester Station in an area that did not require her to show a ticket.
The 36-year-old was deemed to have "entered a train for the purpose of travelling without having a valid ticket entitling you to travel".
Last Tuesday, Stacey Goff was fined £220 for the offence, ordered to pay compensation of £44.20, commanded to pay a victim surcharge of £88.00 and instructed to reimburse costs of £180.
