A man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH in connection with an altercation outside a pub in Stevenage.
Between 2am and 4am on Saturday, December 30, it is reported that there was an altercation outside the Drapers Arms on the High Street.
A man, aged in his twenties, then began to walk home, before he was assaulted near to the junction of Stanmore Road and Church Lane.
He sustained serious injuries, including a fractured eye socket.
Police have today confirmed that an 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH.
