A TWIST on Hans Christian Anderson's classic fairytale The Ugly Duckling is coming to Letchworth GC.
Local theatre group The Young Arcadians will be staging Honk! at Plinston Hall next week.
Honk! transforms the traditional tale into a modern musical comedy for all the family and was the winner of the 2000 Olivier Award for Best New Musical.
It follows the adventure of Ugly as he embarks on a journey of discovery, meeting a gaggle of colourful characters along the way.
The show is full of charm, witty lyrics and a cast of geese, ducks, turkeys, bullfrogs and a very persistent cat.
Performances run from Tuesday, February 14, until Saturday, February 18, starting at 7.30pm, with a matinee on Saturday at 2.30pm.

* FLORENCE Nightingale by John Bowen will be performed by The Settlement Players this weekend in Letchworth GC.
Seen only as the lady with the lamp, there was much more to Florence's life than that.
Born with every opportunity and yet denied her calling because of the era she lived in, Florence battled against sex discrimination and then came to the public's attention due to her work in the Crimean War.
But her work afterwards was even more important.
An influx of new members has enabled the Settlement Players to bring this play to the stage.
Performances will take place from tonight (Thursday) until Saturday, February 11, at 7.30pm at The Settlement, Nevells Road.
For tickets (£5) and more information call 01462 475900.
