Her opinionated barbs at other celebrities might smell of desperation, but here her half-sung, half-rapped patter is assured and sharp.

Married to an intoxicating web of jaunty reggae, jazz and summery pop samples, Alright, Still looks set to be the hook-filled hit of the summer.

Cynics say Lily profited from her comedian father Keith's contacts, but when the music's this good, who cares? 4/5
