THE prolific and undoubtedly talented Bright Eyes engine Conor Oberst is a man whose name excites fevered interest in every stateside fan of alt-country, folk and indie music.

In early 2005 he released two albums simultaneously, which smashed in at the top of the US indie charts - not bad for a man barely into his twenties.

The set recorded for this live album actually borrows more from Oberst's previous works, but it's packed full of raw, emotive and often frail songs.

Worth investing in to witness Oberst's proficiency for poetically tugging at heartstrings, spitting bile at George Dubya and vocalising every nerdy student's lovelorn anguish. 3/5
