AFTER last week's scorching RoTW in Hitchin, Letchworth GC steps into the limelight this weekend.

Continuing the summer of big festivals in and around North Herts, Letchworth Garden City's Music Festival sees international artist Kele Le Roc join headliners Us4//U2 and local talent Andrea Wilde at the Broadway Gardens on Saturday.

The headliners Us4//U2 are a five strong Leeds-based band who formed in 2000 and sound (almost) even better than the real thing.

The key to tribute bands is experience and with a gaggle of gigs behind them Us4//U2 have certainly bypassed those early awkward days.

Supporting them is special guest Kele Le Roc, one of the UK's foremost female vocalist.

With a list of collaborations as long as Peter Crouch's leg, this hugely talented singer is the owner of two MOBO awards and will always be remembered for her appearance on Basement Jax's smash hit single Romeo.

It's a bit of a surprise that she isn't headlining, but there you have it.

Also on the bill is Hitchin singer-songwriter Andrea Wilde. With a voice that resonates somewhere between Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and PJ Harvey, her debut single Stoner, out on July 24, could do pretty darn well in the charts.

Other acts playing at the festival include local favourites Wotever, The Mighty Wonderfuls, Violet Martinez and The Ady Thornhill Band.
