Yukon-based troubadour Gordie Tentrees is including Baldock in a string of tour dates criss-crossing the UK and Ireland during the first two months of the year.
The Canadian – a former Golden Gloves champion boxer, youth worker and mentor as well as a musician – has been hailed as a genuine and wonderful storyteller by reviewers and he’s headlining next Wednesday’s Baldock and Letchworth Blues, Folk and Roots Club session, promoting his acclaimed new album Less Is More.
Multi-instrumentalist Jaxon Haldane, a fellow Canadian, is providing support throughout the tour, which kicked off in London last night and will be taking in York, Bath, Liverpool, and Glasgow in the weeks ahead.
Tickets are £10 with concessions available, visit www.madnanny.co.uk to find out more about the Orange Tree gig and what the club has planned for future dates.
