A YOUNG singer-songwriter is marking her dream of launching her debut EP with a spring tour across the area.

Ashwell musician Alex Holmes debuts her EP All the Colours of You on April 8.

And to mark the occasion, she will be launching at The Vic in Hitchin two days before, which also marks the start of a tour across the east.

All the 22-year-old’s songs are crafted through her own experiences and the stories of others, delivered with simplicity yet effectiveness.

Other dates to look out for include Sounds of Baldock on May 11 and Clairefest on September 7.
