Eighteen-year-old Amelia Edwards break free from her over-protective parents when she goes to stay with her party-loving cousins and her homicide detective uncle, Jim.

Amelia witnesses the audacious murder of a policewoman and is reluctantly propelled into a frightening world. Jim is assigned the investigation, unaware that his niece is the key witness. He wants to protect Amelia but by doing so could jeopardise his career and put his family at risk.
