THE world’s favourite detective, Sherlock Holmes and his sidekick, Dr John Watson return to our screens for three action-packed episodes full of murders and cryptic clue solving.

This modern adaptation sees Watson (Martin Freeman) as a doctor and war hero fresh from military service in Afghanistan. A chance encounter brings him into the world of Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch), a loner and genius detective.

Sherlock has a unique analytical mind, earning his living and staving off boredom by solving crimes, the weirder the better.

In the first episode a woman in pink lies dead in a derelict house, the fourth in a series of impossible suicides and Scotland Yard knows they need Sherlock’s help.
