MAX Bialystock has lost his touch. Once the King of Broadway, now he only produces flops. However, he is visited by a neurotic accountant who suggests he should raise too much money to make an unwatchable play, watch it flop and pocket the surplus cash. They produce Springtime for Hitler, a musical written by escaped Nazi Franz Liebkin and directed by the flamboyant Roger De Bris. Cue hilarious events.
Not as good as the original, but they never are, are they? Still, very funny and very entertaining. 4/5
