Sunderland's finest return, retaining elements of the fiercely pumped-up post-punk spikiness of their eponymous debut, while developing their sound.
Gone are the adrenaline-fuelled nuggets about the first day in a new job, or going out on the lash.
The guys appear to be taking a breath, changing the pressure cooker for a wok, with plenty of room for the Wire-like post-punkiness to ferment in its own arty, spicy juices, and they sound all the better for it.
With crafted, melodically memorable tunes, this record will stay longer in your record player than their last, which is no mean feat.
