Inspired by the likes of Mumford And Sons and Florence And The Machine, a four-piece all-girl band will be at The Old White Horse tonight (Thursday).
The Folk, made up of Freman College A-level pupils, Lucy Holmes, Lauren Davies, Rose Goodship and Sam Saward will bring their new-folk original songs to the Baldock venue.
The girls promise a night of ukes, fiddle, mandolin and drums with an “uplifting quirky vibe”.
