Reggae punk band The Defekters is celebrating the release of their new album.
The Stevenage-based four-piece have released a preview for their new EP Violated on Soundcoud.
Having formed back in 2007, the group have seen a steady increase in their following, culminating with a recent invitation to play the Boomtown Fair, in Winchester, one of the best known alternative music festivals in the country.
Member Cara-Jane Murphy said: “This is a really great time for us. We’re getting a lot more exposure and some real momentum building behind what we’re doing. Now that we’re releasing this EP and playing a few big dates, I think things can only get better from here on out.”
