WARNING! This is not a book for the faint-hearted or anyone easily offended as it is full of fairly graphic sex and drug use.
That is not to say, however, that it is mere smut as none of the offensive stuff is particularly gratuitous.
It is there because the protagonist and narrator, Rosie, is a young woman out of control and her life pretty much does revolve around drinking, having sex or at least wanting to, and taking drugs.
This does not always make comfortable or easy reading as her world is most definitely dark and generally quite disturbing.
