Bird-lovers will be winging in to Letchworth on Friday night to catch a glimpse of life in the wild Rocky Mountains of Canada, courtesy of Martin Davies.
He’ll be talking to members of the Hitchin & Letchworth branch of the RSPB bird protection charity, sharing his knowledge of the wildlife in this beautiful landscape.
And it’s not all about eagles and other masters of the sky – he’ll be talking about everything from grizzly bears and moose to ground squirrels and chipmunks, as well as the varied plant life in the region.
The talk is at The Settlement in Nevells Road from 7.30pm. Non-members are welcome, it’s £2.50 on the door.
