You can climb aboard the barn dance bandwagon in the hands of some of the most experienced musicians on the circuit in Stotfold next month.

Abella will be providing the music for the event organised by the Fairfield Players drama and theatre group on Saturday, March 5, and Andy Rouse will be calling the dances.

The group’s Stella Barnes said: “We hope that you will join us for an evening full of fun, dancing and laughter. You do not need to be an expert. Indeed, you do not need to have ever been to a barn dance before! The caller will explain everything before, and during, each dance.”

The fun will start at 7.30pm at the Memorial Hall in Hallworth Drive, Stotfold, and entry is by ticket only – £12.50 will secure yours, and you can get them from Cards and Crafts in Stotfold, by calling 01767 631265 or emailing derek-walker@mail.com.

There’s a licensed bar and a fish and chip supper on the menu.
