Top class dance is on stage again at Stevenage’s Gordon Craig Theatre next week – but one of the works being presented by the Russian State Ballet and Opera House company is already a sellout success.
There are no tickets left for Tuesday night’s performance of the classic Swan Lake, but if you’re quick you’ll be able to bag seats for Don Quixote, pictured above, the following night.
The 7.30pm performance directed and choreographed by former Bolshoi Theatre dancer Konstantin Uralsky features an impressive cast accompanied by a live orchestra with more than 30 musicians.
The ballet is based on episodes from the famous 17th century novel by Miguel de Cervantes and features spectacular dancing mixed with a dash of Spanish passion.
Call the box office on 01438 363200 or visit the website at www.gordon-craig.co.uk for ticket details.
