Philly stars The Stylistics are bringing the sweet sounds of the 70s to Stevenage next week.
The balladeering quintet had 12 consecutive top ten hits in the decade of soul power, including classics You Are Everything, You Make Me Feel Brand New and I’m Stone In Love With You.
Formed from two high school bands in the late 60s, they went on to work with Thom Bell, creator of the Philly Sound that also brought the world The O’Jays, The Spinners and The Delfonics from the City of Brotherly Love.
With three of the original line-up still in place, and performing as a quartet, the double platinum selling group will be at The Gordon Craig Theatre on Friday November 2.
