A NOVELIST, played by Emma Thompson, cannot work out how to kill off the main character of her latest book. Another thing she doesn't know is that the character Harold Crick (Will Ferrell) is actually a real person who suddenly finds out he can hear her words.
When he hears what her plans for him are, he has to stop her - and quick!
Although it won't have you rolling around in stitches Stranger Than Fiction is an interesting film which works surprisingly well. 3/5
