Stevenage holds free stage school scholarship audition
FREE scholarships to a stage school are up for grabs with auditions starting this weekend.
Top Hat Stage School has teamed up with Hertfordshire County Council’s Youth Connexions to offer 15 annual scholarships worth 900 each at the school in St Albans.
The auditions come to the Gordon Craig Theatre in Stevenage on Sunday between 3pm to 6pm, with three scholarships to be given out across three age categories - six to eight years, nine to 11 and 12 to 17.
The school emphasise that “no experience is necessary” and urge those attending to “just bring your enthusiasm.”
The auditions, which will also see a further three scholarships handed out at Welwyn Garden City, St Albans, Hertford and Potters Bar over the next two weeks, will judge participants on their natural ability and willingness to try and there will be nothing to prepare on the day.
