A coffee shop is hosting its first live music night tomorrow, Friday.
From 7pm Joey Hanson and Cara Beard will be performing at Costa Coffee in High Street, Stevenage.
Organisers hope the event will raise money for the Costa Foundation, a charity which aims to improve the quality of life for children in coffee-growing countries such as Colombia, Costa Rica and Ethiopia, by providing quality educational facilities.
Former John Henry Newman School student Cara, pictured said: “I’m really looking forward to performing at the cafe and am sure it will be a great event.
“I’ve been inspired by acoustic artists like John Mayer and Ed Sheeran so hopefully I’ll be able to bring some of their energy to the stage!”
