Budding comedians can write, perfect and perform their own stand-up routine for family and friends in children’s comedy workshops at Letchworth Arts Centre over the Easter break.

Kids Do The Funniest Things is a 90-minute workshop run by the team behind the Arts Centre’s monthly comedy club, with sessions planned on Thursday, April 2, and Tuesday, April 7.

Last Minute Comedy club compere Paul B. Edwards will give insights into the world of comedy and show children how to put together a routine, and then deliver it in front of their mums and dads.

Manager Maria Iredale said: “These workshops are always inspiring fun.

“Paul is great at putting the children at ease and sharing his enthusiasm, and some of the jokes the children create are hilarious.”

There are four workshops over the two days, for ages seven to 14. Tickets are £15 each (£12.50 each for siblings) – see www.letchwortharts.org for more.
