The operation gets under way at 5.30pm on Sunday and runs through to 10pm, and between those two times there will be turns from the likes of The Zunkels, 5th Pier, The Kingston Inn and many more.

Forming up for action are:

Herts-based singer-songwriter Lawrence Hill, who has been building up a catalogue of infectious and upbeat pop numbers over the past decade (www.facebook.com/lawrencehillmusic).

Stevenage’s Connor Jesse Wells, a seasoned performer despite his 18 years and with a growing reputation for live performance coupled with heartfelt self-penned work (www.facebook.com/connorwells).

Jasmin Donovan, a 16-year-old who has only just finished GCSEs at Hitchin Girls’ School and a student at the town’s Emile Dale School of the Performing Arts, who has already taken major roles in musical productions at Stevenage’s Gordon Craig Theatre (www.jasmindonovan.com).

Powerhouse singer and charismatic stage performer Becky Phillips, also known for her regular slot on Stevenage-based community station SG1 Radio (www.beckyphillipsmusic.com).

London-based alternative rock/pop trio Nambuca, who played last year’s Sonisphere festival at Knebworth (nambuca.com).

North Herts-based indie rock four-piece The Zunkels (www.facebook.com/TheZunkels).

Innovative Nottingham four-piece 5th Pier (www.facebook.com/5thpier).

Herts-based folkie indie six-piece Kingston Inn (www.thekingstoninn.co.uk).

Reading-based rockers Out By Nine (www.outbynine.co.uk).

Many of the performers also featured at July’s Gordon Craig gigs in support of our troops, and will be sharing a stage again at the Whinbush Road venue to confirm their commitment to the cause.
