THE Anniversary, a play by Bill MacIlwraith, will be performed by The Settlement Players at The Little Theatre in Letchworth.
A mother who keeps a tight hold of her three grown-up sons with gifts, threats and ruthless exploitation of their weaknesses is in for a rude awakening.
As the family is brought together to celebrate their mother's wedding anniversary - despite the death of their father - revolt is in the air.
One son gathers the courage to tell his mother he is moving to Canada, another breaks the news of his impending marriage and mother finds her dominance finally broken.
The hilarious play will be performed from November 16 to November 18, at 7.45pm, at The Little Theatre, Nevells Road, Letchworth.
Tickets, at £5, are available from David's Music on 01462 475900 or on the door, subject to availability.
