VISITORS to Hitchin Museum can snap up the chance to try out professional photography techniques this weekend.
Hitchin-born photographer Steve Granger is inviting members of the public to bring their own camera along to his Macro Photoshoot on Saturday between 10am and noon which will sample techniques and lighting effects used by Steve.
Steve is also holding his first exhibition at the museum, Larger Than Life, which runs until Saturday, January 21.
The British Schools Museum is also holding a weekend event in the town as museum manager Ann Wise gives a talk entitled How To Date Your Family Photographs.
The talk - which relates to photos taken between 1860s and 1920s - starts at 10.30am on Saturday, January 21, with tickets priced at �5 including tea or coffee.
