The Shefford Town Memorial Association is holding its annual summer fête this Sunday, and it promises to be bigger and better than ever.
The fun this weekend at the STMA Sports and Social Club, off Hitchin Road, starts at 1pm – with something for everyone.
There will be a colouring competition and bake-off, both to be judged on the day, as well as a magic show with The Family Entertainer, Safari Stu and his creatures, The Henlow & Chicksands Military Wives Choir, and hamburgers from the barbecue.
Visitors will also get the chance to have a go on the rodeo bull or at gladiator jousting, alongside the usual line-up of bouncy castles, pony rides and more.
There will be fish and chips from The Happy Plaice and involvement from the Shefford History Group, the Royal British Legion, the Chicksands Army Cadets and other organisations.
