THE Bancroft players will be performing the children's classic, James and the Giant Peach at the Queen Mother Theatre in Hitchin.
Orphan James is sent to live with his aunts - Spiker and Sponge - after losing his parents in a tragic accident involving a rhino.
But his aunts treat him horribly.
One day, James meets an old man who gives him the strongest magic in the world, which leads to an incredible journey to New York - in a giant peach.
The Roald Dahl timeless classic will be performed at 7.30pm on December 14 and 15 and at 6.30pm on December 16 and 17.
