While Rolling Stones fans await news of any forthcoming UK shows, you can catch the next best thing performing live in Stevenage at a charity concert.
Top Stones tribute band The Rolling Clones will be playing their only Hertfordshire gig of the year at The Nobel School on Friday, October 6.
The We Are The People concert is being organised by the People for People – Stevenage charity run by Kenny Arnold.
He got in touch with Stevenage-based musician and guitarist Aaron Clarke, the Clones’ Keith Richards, about staging a charity show.
This Friday’s concert is in aid of Round Diamond School, with proceeds helping to buy a new minibus for the primary school in Great Ashby Way, Stevenage.

In a video posted on the People for People – Stevenage Facebook page, he said: “What a beautiful thing, this is People for People really working.
“You get some daft hairdresser who puts a little SOS out there, we get a fantastic response and manage to get The Rolling Clones, who we shouldn’t be getting because they are amazing, and we then get a school helping another school.
“That’s People for People, that’s what it’s all about and it’s a wonderful thing.”
He added: “It’s going to be a wonderful night. The children of our town really need us.
“Schools are suffering and what better way to raise money than going to have a really, really good time.”
The Rolling Clones are fronted by Welwyn Garden City singer-songwriter and musician Alex Larke.
Alex, the Clones’ version of Mick Jagger, represented the UK at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Austria as part of duo Electro Velvet.
Doors to Friday’s Rolling Clones concert in Mobbsbury Way open at 7.30pm, with the band on stage around 8pm.
Tickets cost £15 and are available on the door and from Kenny Arnold Hairdressers in High Street, Stevenage.
