THE comedy line-up for a three-pronged festival is now complete.

Taking to the stage in the Comedy Theatre at Bedfordshire’s Rhythm Festival in August will be headliners John Cooper Clarke and Ardal O’Hanlon, star of Father Ted and My Hero.

Joining them during the Bank Holiday weekend of August 24-26 will be Chris Lynam as he resurrects The Greatest Show On Legs, first seen on late night TV show OTT in 1982 with a young Chris Tarrant and Lenny Henry.

Otiz Canneloni will be combining the illusion of magic alongside the logic of stand-up while Michael Fabbri is making an appearance after reaching the final of Channel 4’s So You Think You’re Funny.

Other acts include Mike Gunn, who performed at the Gordon Craig Theatre in Stevenage earlier this year, Duncan Oakley, Dougie Dunlop and Julian Deane.

As well as a host of music for the simultaneous rhythm, folk and blues festivals in Old Warden Park, new for this year and available to ticket holders for all three festivals are fringe theatre performances in the The Old Dick Theatre and a programme of literary and poetry events with performers to be announced soon.
