Rev up and head this way for hot rod action in Stevenage on Sunday

Watch out for wild and wacky vehicles on the streets around Stevenage on Sunday – they’ll all be heading to the town’s Fairlands Valley Showground for the sixth annual Autorama street and strip rods summit.

The gates are open from 10am (£3) and there will be live music, trade stands and rides for the children as well as all that mouthwatering chrome and metal and prizes for the machines which the judges reckon are the cream of the crop.

The event is hosted by the A602s, a group of North Herts hot rod fans who have seen the event expand every year. A spokesman said: “Every year the show brings more and 2015 promises to be no different.”
