Indie rockers Reverend And The Makers will open the Red Hot Chili Peppers Knebworth gig in June.
The Sheffield quintet best known for single Heavyweight Champion of the World will join the other named support act Dizzee Rascal at what is turning into an eclectic show.
The band are no strangers to playing to big crowds having supported Oasis on their last tour – including Wembley Stadium.
More acts for the show on June 23 will be announced in the coming weeks, the organisers said.
