It's been a long time coming, but the Chilis finally return with a double-disc, 28-track monster.
First single Dani California heads the charge on disc one - Jupiter - and is followed by a glut of worthy songs that slip by in a pleasantly funky, poppy manner.
Of course, good manners are meant to go unnoticed, and with such a wealth of tracks it is hard to disguise the limitations of their talents as songcrafters.
Listening through you'd be hard-pressed to pick out more than half a dozen knockout tracks, but when they come along, like with the stomping funk of Storm In A Teacup, they prove impossible to resist. 4/5
