IT WAS a tough choice for the second review this week, but Pan's Labyrinth just pips The Prestige.

Beautiful and dangerous, Guillermo del Toro's latest is a perfect imagining of what a fairytale should be - enchanting, dark, mysterious and fantastic.

The film follows Ofelia in both the real civil war-riven Spain and a the dreamworld fairytale labyrinth.

One of the best films of last year - definitely the most stunning - Pan's Labrynth is a feast fit for a king. 5/5
