THE pulsating beats of Africa come to Bedford's Bowen West Theatre on Saturday, March 25, when touring company, Sakoba Dance Theatre, arrive in town.
Sango/Iyana is the latest programme from the UK's first postmodern African dance group.
The company tears up the conventional dance rulebook to deliver a refreshing take on movement from inspirational choreographer Bode Lawal.
Lawal's style of dance builds on traditional African dance by adding fresh, modern touches.
The performances begin at 8pm.
