For part two of NHSPH's Month of Ska, the DIY tour featuring A Billion Ernies, Weightloss and The Junglists comes to Hitchin's Club 85 on Saturday April 15.
Hailing from California, A Billion Ernies "dig potato chips and hot dogs, sun roofs and sticky notes".
With indie and ska influences expect some hardcore breakdowns, danceable ska uppercuts, elements of jazz and lyrics that revolve around the Christian centralisation of the band.
Visit www.myspace/abillionernies to find out more about the band.

In support of the Ernies are local boys Weightloss.
They have been going for a couple of years now and are ready to give you another dose of UK Skacore, bringing together technical horns and socially conscious lyrics.

Theirs is an eclectic mix of sounds including hardcore punk, jazz, punk rock as well as ska, dub and reggae. How does one band manage to pull it off? To find out, and for a taster of three of their tracks, visit www.myspace.com/weightloss
Weightloss recently signed to Spiky Black Cat Records and their first full length album should be released later in the year.
Finally, seven young lads from Newbury. The Junglists, whose music originates from ska roots, supported The Mystery Jets in November of last year and hope to build on their recent success.
Their song writing has a touch of alternative indie about it and these young lads will give you the big opening dose of ska punk you need to set you up for what promises to be a blinder of an evening.
Again, for a preamble to their music, visit www.myspace.com/thejunglists
Tickets for part two of the Month of Ska are £4.50 and doors open at 7.45pm.
