Fabulously riotous and spine-tingling by turns the marvellous Moishe’s Bagel will be at The Queen Mother Theatre on Saturday.
Returning to Hitchin after their outstanding St Mary’s stage performance at Rhythms of the World last summer, their irresistible mix of whirling klezmer (imagine a gloriously drunken Jewish wedding party) will have you smiling your face off.
Support is from Hitchin’s indefatigable one-man musical force Stuart O’Connor.
The evening is the first in a series of ROTW world music events outside the festival, and in the intimate setting of the Hitchin theatre looks set to be a real goody.
Tickets at 13 are available from the theatre, Harvest Moon, Hitchin Town Centre Initiative and David’s Music in Letchworth, or it’s 15 on the door from 7.30pm.
