THE rise and fall of an immigrant arms dealer is brought to life by the flamboyant Nicolas Cage.
The film is based on actual events. Cage's Yuri Orlov witnesses a mob hit in 1982 and realises there is a demand for guns and bullets.
He is soon on his way to selling off guns "to every army but the Salvation Army."
With good support from Jared Leto and Ethan Hawke, Lord of War is definitely worth a look. 4/5
