For lovers of revolutionary dance music, circle Saturday September 18 in your diaries.
Because that’s when 1940s jazz sextet The Swing Commanders come to the Plinston in Letchworth playing the sounds that stormed the dance floor as a world at war made whoopee.
The multi-talented band can turn their hand to a huge array of instruments including guitar, mandolin, violin, double bass, Hawaiian steel, piano, trumpet, drums, clarinet, accordion and saxophone as well as singing five-piece harmony and solo.
Tickets are �10 in advance or �12.50 on the night from 7.30pm.
