A BESTSELLING author will be in Letchworth GC next week to talk about her new novel, The Soldier’s Wife, and sign copies of her book.

Joanna Trollope will be at the Spirella Ballroom in Bridge Road from 7.30pm on Friday, February 10, at an event organised by David’s Bookshop in the town.

Ms Trollope has been writing for more than 30 years, with her first bestseller The Rector’s Wife making her a household name.

The author’s latest book considers whether marrying a soldier means marrying the army, following British Army major Dan Riley’s struggle to return to domestic life after a six-month tour of Afghanistan.
