Letchworth’s Christmas Crackers
EXPECT a Christmas cracker as a children’s ballet and dance school twist into town next week.
A cast of 135 youngsters will perform at Plinston in Letchworh GC next week as DLJ School of Ballet and Theatre Dance presents Christmas Crackers 2011.
The production is two-pronged opening with a performance by four to 18-year-olds of classical ballet Snow Dream before a showcase of modern jazz, tap and singing by children aged from eight to 18.
The show at Broadway kicks off on Friday, December 2, at 6.45pm with two further performances following on Saturday and Sunday, at 7pm and 3pm respectively.
Proceeds from each evening will be in aid of Letchworth GC-based Garden House Hospice and Keech Hospice Care, which supports ill adults and children in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
