Spring is in the air – and with it the prospect of a summer full of events you can attend in your shirt sleeves.
Best not to discard those jumpers and coats yet, though – the knights who will be doing battle at Knebworth House over the Easter weekend will certainly be dressed for the conditions.
In full armour they will do battle on Easter Sunday and Monday, March 27 and 28, and visitors to the historic park and gardens won’t have to pay a penny extra to enjoy the show.
Tickets are now on sale for the Easter event, and if you book your tickets online in advance there are savings to be made.
There’s no extra charge to see the jousting, it’s included in the £9.50 park and gardens admission ticket.

The familiar turrets and towers of the historic house will provide a spectacular backdrop to the action as the Knights of Arkley come to blows.
There are two scheduled jousting displays on both days at about 12.30pm and 2.30pm – but the exact time depends on the weather, so fingers cross for fine days. To book tickets visit www.knebworthhouse.com.
