It’s beginning to sound a lot like Christmas as choirs sing out in Letchworth and Hitchin

Music is coming thick and fast in the run-up to Christmas, with varied programmes on offer to set the Yuletide scene as local groups lift up their voices to celebrate the season.
Letchworth Arcadians will be presenting their Christmas show tomorrow, Friday, and on Saturday night at the town’s St Paul’s Church.

Over in Hitchin the Arlesey-based Vivace Choir will be at Tilehouse Street Baptist Church on Saturday night, with works by Benjamin Britten and Bob Chilcott chosen for their Christmas theme on the programme, as well as carols for all to enjoy.
The group will be joined by the Mid Herts Music Centre Girls’ Chamber Choir.
