International comedy in Hitchin and Letchworth
THREE continents will be represented when a monthly comedy club returns to Hitchin and Letchworth GC this weekend.
Lastminutecomedy Club sees Canadian Tony Law and Australia’s Matthew Hardy perform on two consecutive nights, joined by regular compere Paul B. Edwards on his home soil.
Law is a master of the surreal and his numerous TV appearances include being a team captain on Channel 4’s “Does Doug Know?” and a recent show stealing turn on BBC’s “Never Mind The Buzzcocks”.
Hardy has formed a strong reputation in his native country and comes to the UK for a rare performance.
Tomorrow (Friday) night’s gig takes place at Woodside Hall in Hitchin before the show is repeated at Letchworth Arts Centre on Saturday.
Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8.30pm start on both nights with tickets 10 on the night or 8 for members.
Advance tickets for the Letchworth GC are available by calling 01462 670788 between 10am and 3pm or by dropping into the arts centre at The Arcade.
