INSPIRAL Carpets former frontman Tom Hingley is back in Hitchin after a storming performance in the town last year.
The singer and guitarist who led the band in the magical 90s Madchester period will be at The Albert on Saturday night – four months after he put in a forceful appearance at a rammed Molly Malones.
Mixing up 40s blues, 60s rock, his own compositions, and Carpets classics all with a vocal that ranges from sweetness to a growl and a powerful guitar style, Hingley demands attention.
Support is from The Sensational Jordan Bradley, Fruition and The Scallywags.
Entry is free, with the first band on at 7pm.
