An alternative rock five piece are topping the bill at a show next Thursday.

Stevenage-based indie outfit The Informatives will play Club 85’s all-ages rock show alongside fellow local stars The State Affair and Blighty Inc.

Playing a mix of music ranging from Muse and Two Door Cinema to the slightly more mainstream Bruno Mars, they hope to provide something for everyone.

Guitarist Matthew Gill said: “We’ve been playing together for a long time now so I think we’ve learned a lot in terms of how to perform to a crowd and really put on a good show.

“It’s always interesting playing live because I feel like you learn something new each every time. You’re always chipping away at how you can make this performance better than the last.”

The band is currently working on original material to release as an EP later this year.

Doors open at 6.45pm with a £5 entry fee. Visit www.club-85.co.uk for more information.
