Half-term won’t be an excuse for a holiday for young members of Hitchin Thespians.
They’ll be staging their latest show at the town’s Woodside Hall – with Sarah Bailes directing, Claire Bailes as musical director and a cast of more than 30 young performers including James Osbourne, Charlotte Platten, Annabelle Williamson and Haydn Mullane.
Honk Jr – a musical based on the famous Hans Christian Andersen story of The Ugly Duckling and created with young performers in mind – will be staged at 7.30pm each evening from next Thursday, February 18, through to Saturday, with a 2.30pm matinee on the Saturday afternoon. The award-winning musical is billed as a heartwarming celebration of what makes us special.
Tickets are £10 with children coming to the Saturday matinee show paying £7.
