AN AMERICAN rom-com gets a musical makeover in a production by Big Spirit Theatre.
The group will be transforming 1999 film She’s All That for the stage when it comes to the Queen Mother Theatre in Hitchin next week.
Directed by Katie Rallison, the show will tell the tale of Zach and his bid to win a high school bet.
After the hottest girl at California High dumps him, he tells his fiends that any girl he dates will be voted as prom queen.
Taking Zach at his word, they suggest Laney, an introverted goth that no one looks at.
And Zach isn’t the only one with his eye on the prom queen’s crown - Jervis has always thought he’d love the title, and being a boy isn’t going to stop him.
The show runs from Wednesday, April 25, until Saturday, April 28. Performances start at 7.45pm and tickets cost �8 or �6 concessions.
